In the back of the gym against the wall, she laid on the ground relaxing from a workout. It was a must that she worked out today, Jaylen was a creature of habit. She didn't like it when she missed a certain thing. She leaned up and took a small sip of water from a paper cup she'd grabbed at the water fountain and then sat up. It was a thirty minute crunch session, so she was fairly tired. Her hazel eyes glanced around the gym, not many people were here. That was fine by her, she didn't like people. She would only talk if it was necessary or if people struck a conversation with her. She laid her head back down and took a few deep breaths for a moment. She knew she should do something else but she still wanted to excercise some more. She thought of her options and decided she would rest for a bit and then begin doing push-ups or something along those lines.
She now completely sat up and sat against the wall pulling a small book out and flipping the page to begin reading where she had left off. This was a great time to read while she relaxed for a bit. Jaylen was taught how to read through the system, she never went to school so even reading was a challenge for her, but she could still do it. She now liked to read, she kept a book on hand because it was a great way to escape. She liked to draw more but she didn't want her drawing book out here, it stayed in her dorm at all times. Her drawing notebook was filled with more intricate things than a book could ever have inside it. And the lovely thing about drawings is there's no need for reading.
